Flags Across America

What is the "Flags Across Klein" fundraiser and why does it matter to me?

 

It takes a lot of money to run a highly successful band program. The Klein Oak Band Association does a great deal of fundraising to help keep the band fees reasonable. Every student benefits from the funds raised and so it is a responsibility and an obligation for every family to participate in fundraising.

 

"Flags Across Klein" is kind of the perfect fundraiser.

 

It has become a self sustaining source of income. It is seen in the community as a public service and people love it. It is revenue from outside our band family.

 

The caveat is that it is highly labor intensive. It takes a lot of help to service our 1500 subscriber customers. WE NEED YOU TO HELP!!!!

 

Each subscription year starts in May with Memorial Day and continues with Flag Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Sept. 11, Veteran's Day, and President's Day. Each band student is required to help with two routes. They can both be on one holiday or spread over two holidays.
